Cornell University requires that all students have health insurance to ensure that lack of access to healthcare is not a barrier to the success of any student.  All full-time registered students are automatically enrolled in Cornell’s Student Health Plan (SHP) and have the responsibility of confirming enrollment in SHP or, if eligible, completing an insurance waiver. 
 
Our office is here to assist you with:
• The process of enrollment in SHP or waiving SHP insurance based on your eligibility and registration status.    
• Support for optional dental and vision insurance
• General knowledge about health insurance
